You could like any style in the world but if you try to force emotion by making the couples do crazy things for laugher etc but it's ok to slow it down and direct a couple in a romantic way. I would never make my couple jump, run to force an emotion. this just leads to sweating and awkward face expressions and your clicking a whole lot of image to have one turn out.
