A Rainy Day, a Glowing Love
The sweetest pair — dodging raindrops, sharing surprises, and glowing with joy for one another, all topped off with a cheeky joke from their MC. But more on that later.
This is the story of Jen and Mark’s stunning wedding. They tied the knot at Columbia Church, wandered through the romantic greenery of Supreme Court Gardens for portraits, and celebrated their love at Anzac House with laughter, happy tears, and memories to last a lifetime.
“I Want That Feeling” – Finding the Right Photographer
When Jen first saw my work, she said, “Wow, I want that feeling.”
She was drawn to the soft, timeless, and natural aesthetic — the kind of photography that doesn’t rely on trendy filters, but captures moments in a way that feels real and will still be beautiful in 50 years.
Jen had heard stories of wedding photos gone wrong, including a negative experience within her own family. She knew she wanted someone who would do more than show up with a camera — she wanted someone who would guide, support, and help her feel incredible throughout the day.

Guidance, Comfort, and Authentic Moments
Knowing her concerns, I made it my priority to help her and her family feel completely at ease in front of the lens. With gentle direction, I shared tips to create movement that felt natural, kept things relaxed, and allowed those special candid moments to shine through.
I don’t just take photos — we create space for people to feel like their best selves, and that always shows in the results.
A Rainy Forecast, a Quick Shift, and Thoughtful Planning
After their beautiful ceremony at Columbia Church, the clouds started to gather. Sensing rain, I suggested we take the family portraits immediately — making the most of the meaningful backdrop before the weather shifted.
Often, these moments are missed when time isn’t managed intentionally. With the right planning, we were able to preserve the scenic beauty and capture portraits filled with warmth and love, without rushing or stress.

A Location That Shines – Supreme Court Gardens
Could there be a more perfect setting than Supreme Court Gardens in the heart of Perth? Between the trees, stone paths, and soft natural light, Jen and Mark shared quiet, joy-filled moments together.
Instead of forcing poses, I encouraged them to simply connect with each other. Their genuine smiles, laughter, and the way they looked at each other said it all. This is what it’s about — helping couples live in the moment, not just perform for the lens.

Surprises, Speeches, and British Vogue
The reception? Full of surprises. Jen’s bridal party stunned guests with a choreographed dance, and Jen herself sang a heartfelt song for Mark — there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
And of course, the MC couldn’t help but say what everyone was thinking: “These two are so stunning, they belong in a high-fashion magazine.”
Turns out… he wasn’t wrong. British Vogue featured one of their images at #48 on their Top 50 List.
