Western Australia has some gorgeous places for weddings that match my photography style. They’re as elegant as any in Europe, but right here! Whether you want a vineyard, a beautiful garden, or a grand old building, WA has beautiful venue that compliments your wedding day. These places offer beauty, great light, and meaning for your wedding.

If you’re starting to plan and don’t know where to begin, I’ve got some ideas. But just remember you can match the venue with the photography style you love.

Here are my top locations for wedding venues in Western Australia that will make your celebration and photos amazing. Let’s make your dream day come true!

Masonmill Gardens Perth Hills

Masonmill Gardens in the Perth Hills is amazing. Imagine roses, gardens, flowers, and lots of colours. It’s elegant and private. The gardens are beautiful and have old statues. You get a private area for your ceremony and reception, and you can styled it how you like. There’s also accommodation to relax or stay overnight, plus a marquee area to keep you dry if it rains.

What’s great about Masonmill is their wedding planner. They help make your event perfect, and you get the place all to yourself. It’s easy to get the reception area ready and take a sneak peak before guests arrive. There are so many beautiful back drops for photos. The staff is friendly, easy to talk to, and they serve awesome coffee.

Caversham House Swan Valley

Caversham House in the Swan Valley is an ideal wedding venue. It features charming historic architecture and well-kept gardens. When the roses bloom, it’s stunning. There’s also a picturesque waterfall. You can do everything on-site, even arrive by boat.

What I love most is you can host the ceremony by the water or on the stairs. You can have grand reception indoors, outdoors or in a marquee. The lovely pathways and arches create a magical atmosphere, perfect for wedding photos.

University of Western Australian In Perth

The University of Western Australia is a great venue for weddings. It’s in Crawley, close to Perth’s city center. The place has pretty gardens, old buildings, and is near the river. This makes it a top choice for weddings in Perth.

What I like about it is the mix of classic buildings and peaceful garden areas, which are perfect for wedding photos. You can also have photo shoots there, but remember it’s a favourite location for engagement pictures.

St George College In Perth

St George College is a great venue for outdoor weddings. It’s an old building with nice gardens around it, making it feel timeless and welcoming. The mix of old-time charm and vines that ground around the building gives it a special feeling. If you want a place that feels classic and personal, this is it. You can have a lovely outdoor party with lights around the building.

I love George College because it combines old style, beautiful gardens, and old style building. The place looks amazing, but remember to book early since it’s open only at certain times of the year for weddings.

Brookleigh Estate In Swan Valley

Brookleigh Estate in the Swan Valley is ideal for couples dreaming of a wedding that feels like it’s in the French countryside. It has beautiful gardens, French inspired house, adds a touch of class. The garden makes it feel romantic and looks great in photos for weddings and parties.

What I love about Brookleigh Estate is the rooms you can stay in. They are cozy, stylish, and roomy for your wedding party. You can have your ceremony by the chateau or next to the lake. The estate has horses, so if you love animals, you will love it here. Have a grand entrance in a horse and chart to wow guest of your arrival. Do you want more inspiration, check out a Wedding Lunch Party.

Voyager Estate In Margaret River

Voyager Estate in Margaret River is a beautiful vine yard. It’s got stunning white buildings, multiple of beautiful gardens, rose garden and peaceful vineyard views. Perfect for wedding photos!

What I like most about Voyager Estate is the vibe and the tasty food. They grow their own veggies, so everything’s fresh and delicious. It’s a beautiful place for a wedding lunch with great wine and romantic photos. Book early, though, because it fills up fast, even two years ahead. Totally worth it!

Basildene Manor – Margaret River

Basildene Manor feels like the heart of the English countryside with its big house and lovely gardens. The neat lawns and wide views make it look like a fairytale. The manor’s soft colours and classy look make great wedding pictures, and the countryside around it adds a bit of magic. This mix of old charm and natural beauty makes Basildene Manor a great pick for couples who want a place that feels intimate yet impressive.

What I love about Basildene Manor is that it’s perfect for small weddings. It’s peaceful, romantic, and has such pretty designs inside.

Fraser Gallop Estate – South West

Fraser Gallop Estate is right in the middle of the Margaret River wine area and is a great place for weddings. It mixes fancy buildings with green vineyards for a lovely setting. The estate’s charming look is perfect for wedding photos. With its peaceful vibe, it’s great for small, personal ceremonies and parties. The estate’s classy features, from its impressive buildings to its pretty gardens, make any wedding feel special. The mix of natural beauty and style makes it a great pick for couples wanting a romantic and classic wedding spot.

What’s amazing about Frazer Gallop Estate is that it’s privately owned, people live there, and they only host four weddings a year. This makes every wedding super special and personal. They also have White Events Wedding planners to make sure everything is perfect. It’s a dream for any photographer to shoot here.

Supreme Court Gardens – In Perth City

Supreme Court Gardens in Perth is a lovely spot for couples who want a city garden wedding. It’s right in the middle of the city and has old trees, big lawns, and nice paths, making it a top pick for weddings and pictures.

What I like about it is when the sun goes down, it still stays bright because of the reflections, but it can get dark fast. So, having your ceremony earlier is a good idea. People often miss this garden for weddings, and only have their portraits here but it’s great because it’s definitely over looked. Also the famous Wildflower Restaurant is across the road at the State Building. check out an engagement session and wedding portraits that was shoot here.
